Our menu at Lotus Cafe is based on fresh local produce. Certain items on the menu are always organic, while others are as cost permits. Ingredients that are not "certified organic" have been grown as cleanly as possible (i.e. some farmers grow organically but can’t afford the certification process).
Because we're focused on using only the freshest and healthiest ingredients possible, we receive fresh produce deliveries every day of the week.
Our wheatgrass and sunflower sprouts are organic and local, sourced from a wonderful local grower in Leucadia.
Our bread is from a local artisan bakery, Bread & Cie, and is made with natural sourdough yeast that goes through four rising cycles before being baked. We receive daily fresh bread deliveries early every morning.
Our organic tofu is made fresh by a local soy dairy.
Our vegetarian Swami’s Lasagna is made by our cooks in-house. We also make our own homemade soups, salad dressings, sauces, guacamole, and salsa. We bake our homemade vegan cupcakes, and gluten-free cupcakes every morning in-house, and also our delicious gluten-free brownies.
